ARTIMESIA M. BUTTERBAUGH

Wife of Thomas E. Butterbaugh of 903 Third avenue, died at 3.12 o'clock 
yesterday afternoon in the Altoona hospital after an extended illness. 
She was born in Altoona Nov. 17, 1883, a daughter of Orlando and Lettie 
(Koons) Reffner. Surviving are her husband, the following children:  
Mrs. Georgetta Irvin of Woodlyn, Mrs. Madeline Durio and Mrs. Ruth 
Price of Altoona, Mrs. Elizabeth Winegardner and Mrs. Tressie Madden of 
Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Bessie Weber of Greenwood, Mrs. Jane Bender of 
Crumlyne, Miss Mesia, at home, and Thomas E., jr., of Juniata; 10 
grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two brothers, Hugh and Orlando 
Reffner of Altoona. A son, Leroy, is deceased. Mrs. Butterbaugh was a 
member of the First Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received at 
the Axe funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
