All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ BYRNE Mrs. Malinda Byrne, wife of Charles Byrne, of 1503 Eighteenth avenue, died last night at 7.25 o'clock at the family home, death being caused by apoplexy. Mrs. Byrne had been in ill health for the past five months, but was able to be about until the past two weeks, when she was compelled to take her bed. She was the daughter of John and Barbara Bender, deceased, and was born on June 5, 1858, at Carrolltown, Pa. She has resided in this city for the past 33 years, and is survived by her husband and the following children: DeLellis, Mrs. Ed. Kelley, Eulalie, Paul, all of this city and John, in the Ordnance Dept. in France. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: A. E. Bender of Ebensburg, B. J., of 1316 Thirteenth avenue, Mrs. Maud Bradley of 1413 Eleventh street. She was a member of St. John's Catholic church and of the Altar society. The funeral will be conducted on Monday morning at 9 o'clock with mass at St. John's church. Interment in Calvary cemetery. (Cambria county papers, please copy.)
