He had just finished a hearty dinner and at that time had not spoken of feeling in any way indisposed. Mr. Caldwell was born in Beaver County, July 28, 1850, the son of Robert and Rebecca Caldwell. He married Miss Matilda Thompson in Spruce Creek Valley, October 13, 1875. He was, for many years, employed as a car repairman at the local Pennsy shops, being retired three years ago. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church. Mr. Caldwell is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Joseph H. Fay, 107 Duncansville Avenue, Llyswen. Services will be held at the late home at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in charge of Dr. H. H. Stiles, assisted by Reverend R. L. Hallet of the Ward Avenue Presbyterian Church.
