MRS. JENNIE L. CALHOUN

Widow of William A. Calhoun, who died eight years ago, died at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. Ralph C. Fickes, 2019 Pine avenue, at 10:45 o'clock 
yesterday morning following an extended illness.  She was born in Beechwood, 
Jefferson county, April 18, 1872, a daughter of Stewart and Mary (Adams) 
Porter.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Fickes of the city, and Mrs. 
Walter D. Love of Fort Knox, Ky.; five grandchildren and one sister, Miss W. 
G. Thompson of Punxsutawney.  Mrs. Calhoun was a member of the Falls Creek 
Presbyterian church.  Friends will be received at the Axe funeral home.

CALHOUN - Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Letitia (Porter) Calhoun of 3019 
Pine avenue, will be held in the Falls Creek Presbyterian church tomorrow 
afternoon, at 2.30 o'clock, in charge of Rev. Gerald Palmer.  Interment in 
Beechwood cemetery.  Friends are being received at the Axe funeral home from 
noon today until 10 o'clock tomorrow.
