He was born in Altoona July 17, 1906, a son of Prosper and Mary Josephine (Torso) Campanaro, and was a veteran of World war II service in the army. Earlier he had been employed in the Altoona works car shops. Surviving are his father, at the home, and the following brothers and sisters: Michael J., Louis, Patsy, Regis and Mrs. Catherine Montrella, all of Altoona, Matthew of Long Island, N.Y., Mrs. Dorothy Ferdinando of Monongahela, Mrs. Genevieve Pinnin of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Janet Gensler of Baltimore, Md., and Miss Lucy of Brooklyn, N.Y. Mr. Campanaro was a member of Mount Carmel Catholic church. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock tomorrow evening. Altoona Mirror, December 14, 1952
