Born at Mill Creek, November 27, 1868, he was the son of James and Patience (Campbell) Campbell. He was married to Nora B. Hicks, April 18, 1899, at Dudley by Rev. E. E. Harter. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year. Surviving are his wife and these children: Mrs. Mary Mogle of Brooklyn, New York; Mrs. Freda Parks of Huntingdon; George E. and Elwood Campbell of Williamsburg and Mrs. Catharine Rorabaugh, at home; six grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Emma L. Dunlap of Pass-A-Grill Beach, Florida. Mr. Campbell was a member of the First Methodist Church, the Men's Bible Class and Orphans Home Lodge 315, I. O. O. F. of Williamsburg.
