CAMPBELL - In Williamsburg, June 23, Annie, infant daughter of Conductor Campbell. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, June 24, 1880 A Flower Transplanted. EDS. TRIBUNE: At this writing we chronicle with sadness the deep affliction which has befallen the home and family of our beloved brother and friend, H. B. Campbell, conductor on the Williamsburg branch railroad. Death has entered the sacred precincts of their home, and left them to mourn the loss of a twin daughter, aged 3 months. This event is particularly distressing, as it is the first to begin the death record in a large family. The funeral services were held at the family residence, on Thursday, June 24, and were deeply impressive, as was evinced not only by the grief of the bereaved members, but by the flowing tears of sympathizing friends. The little one has come and gone to cheer like morning dew, To rest a while on memory's blade, and then to fall from view. W. W. D.
