Conductor Campbell's Bereavements.

  Conductor Campbell was called by telegraph on Monday to the bedside 
of his mother at Mechanicsburg, Indiana county, but only arrived in 
time to attend her funeral, which took place on Friday, the day he 
arrived.  His little son was lying very ill with little hopes of his 
recovery when he left home, and while maternal affection bade him 
hasten to his mother, it is with feelings we cannot describe that he 
left the bedside of his dying little son.
