He leaves a wife and a 7-months-old child and two brothers to mourn his death. He had been a resident of Tyrone since 1889 and was employed at the planing mill of F. D. Beyer & Co. as a turner. He was a member of Company H, 184th regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, during the late war and was a member of Post 172, G.A.R. He belonged to the Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be held in the First Presbyterian church, Tyrone, tomorrow morning at 10:30, Rev. H. G. Furbay officiating; interment in the Tyrone cemetery.
