JOHN CANTY

Died yesterday morning at Harrisburg from the effects of injuries received 
quite a while ago on the railroad.  He was the son of John and Julia Canty, 
was born near Lilly, Cambria county, and was aged 40 years.  He is survived 
by his mother and three brothers and sisters: Patrick H., Thomas, Martin and 
Mrs. Richard Madigan of this city; James, Mrs. Nora Strayer and Mrs. J. B. 
Hughes of Houtzdale.  He was a member of St. John's Catholic church.  His 
remains were brought here this morning and taken to the residence of his 
mother, 1211 1/2 Sixteenth avenue.  Services will take place at St. John's 
Catholic church at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning; interment in St. John's 
cemetery.
