MRS. GRACE C. CARAHER

Of 1308 Third avenue, widow of Samuel B. Caraher, died at her home at 11 
o'clock last night after an extended illness.  She was born on Feb. 14, 1876, 
in Huntingdon, a daughter of Edward B. and Sarah L. (Gorsuch) Shoff.  Mr. 
Caraher died on Sep. 10, 1940.  Surviving are one daughter and two sons, Ruth 
K., at home, William F., of Richmond, Va., and Samuel J. of St. Paul, Minn.; 
one grandson, W. Fred of Richmond, Va., and one sister, Mrs. W. M. Simpson of 
Huntingdon.  Mrs. Caraher was a member of the Eighth Avenue Methodist church.  
Friends may call at the Lafferty funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.

CARAHER - Funeral services for Mrs. Grace C. Caraher of 1308 Third avenue, 
will be conducted by Rev. W. L. Armstrong Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at 
the Lafferty funeral home.  Interment in Huntingdon.  Friends may call at the 
Lafferty funeral home.
