MRS. ELIZABETH CARBIS
 
Of 2818 West Chestnut avenue, widow of William H. Carbis, died at the 
home of Mrs. Robert L. Meyer of 2826 West Chestnut avenue this morning 
after an extended illness.  She was born in Coburn, England, on June 10, 
1856.  Surviving are one daughter, Loretta;  one step daughter, Mrs. 
May Williams of Philadelphia, and a twin sister, Mrs. Blanche Noble of 
Coburn, England.  Mrs. Carbis was a member of the Broad Avenue Methodist 
church.  Friends are being received at the Laughlin funeral home.
