Albert Leo Carl died yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock at his home, 533 Spruce street, of typhoid fever, after a short illness. Deceased was first taken sick about ten days ago with the grip and several days later was stricken with the fever. He was a son of Benton and Elizabeth Carl, was born at Hollidaysburg on January 16, 1893. For some years past he had been employed at No. 3 round house at Altoona and was a steady workman and a young man of sterling integrity, who was held in the highest esteem by all who knew him and whose presence will be greatly missed from the family circle. The young man was a consistent member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic church, He is survived by his parents and these brothers and sisters: John, David, Clare, Cyril, Eliza and Mary, all at home. He was also a member of the Independent Order of Eagles. The funeral services will be held at St. Mary's church Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made in Greenlawn cemetery.
