Carl, who made his home with Mr. and Mrs. John Colt, 1360 Bald Eagle avenue, died yesterday at 1:30 p.m. of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was born at Shade Gap, Aug. 8, 1867, a son of John and Sarah Watters Carl. As a young man, he was employed by the West Virginia Pulp and Paper company plant in Tyrone. About 35 years ago, he moved to Michigan where he was employed by the Quaker Oats company. He returned to Tyrone in 1950. He leaves a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Graham and Getz funeral home, in charge of the Rev. John T. T, Cummings. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery.
