MISS MARY E. CARL.

  Miss Mary Elizabeth Carl died at her home, 1907 Fifteenth avenue, at 3:15 
o'clock yesterday morning, of a complication of diseases.  Deceased was born 
in St. Augustine, Cambria county, was aged 71 years and had resided in the 
city for the past fifteen years.  She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic 
church and is survived by the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Rosaline 
Ivory, of Chest Springs; Mrs. Annie McCaulley, of Windber; Brother Alphonsus, 
of Loretto, and Miss Clara, of this city.
  The funeral will take place Monday morning with mass at St. Leo's church at 
7 o'clock.  The remains will be taken to St. Augustine, where services will 
also be conducted and interment made in the church cemetery.
