MARY ELLEN CARL

Of 1210 Eighteenth avenue died at Mercy hospital at 3.05 o'clock yesterday 
afternoon.  She was born in Hollidaysburg on Sept. 15, 1886, the daughter of 
Benton and Elizabeth (Holland) Carl.  Surviving are two brothers and one 
sister, John B. Carl of Hollidaysburg, William C. Carl of Baltimore, Md., and 
Mrs. Joseph Harlow of Altoona, at whose home she resided.  Also surviving are 
six nieces and four nephews.  She was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed 
Sacrament and of the Altar and Rosary societies.  Friends are being received at 
the Jones funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.

CARL - The funeral of Miss Mary Ellen Carl, of 1219 Eighteenth avenue will be 
held Tuesday morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in the Cathedral of the 
Blessed Sacrament.  Interment in St. Mary's cemetery, Hollidaysburg.  Friends 
will be received at the E. W. Jones funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
