MRS. ELIZABETH CARLES

  Mrs. Elizabeth Carles, wife of Howard Carles, of 526 Twenty-fifth 
avenue, died at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon of a complication of 
diseases.  She was born in Cambria county 42 years ago.  She was a member 
of St. Mark's church.  She is survived by her husband, two children, Mrs. 
Esther Harshbarger and Mrs. Olive Kirker, and also by her mother, Mrs. 
Mary Warner and six brothers as follows: Robert, Daniel, Jerome and 
Clinton, all of this city, Vincent of Hollidaysburg, and Gilbert of 
Akron, O.  Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

FUNERAL NOTICE

  The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Carles will be held tomorrow morning, the 
funeral cortege leaving the house at 8.30 o'clock.  Mass will be celebrated at 
St. Mark's church at 9 o'clock.  Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery.
