MRS. AGDA CARLSON

Died yesterday morning at 11.15 o'clock at Mercy hospital.  She had made her 
home with her daughter, Mrs. Fred Iverson of 420 East Grant avenue, but was 
formerly of Mount Jewett.  Mrs. Carlson was born at Smaland, Sweden, Dec. 24, 
1874, the daughter of Swan and Ingrid (Johnson) Okeson.  She was the widow of 
Axel B. Carlson.  Two daughters to her first marriage to August H. Engdahl 
survive, Mrs. Iverson of Altoona and Miss Nina Engdahl, a teacher in the Erie 
schools; two sons to her second marriage, La Verne Carlson of Wilcox and Leroy 
Carlson of Erie; one brother, Charles Okeson of Westline; six sisters in Sweden 
and five grandchildren.  Mrs. Carlson was a member of the Nebo Lutheran church 
at Mount Jewett.  The body was taken to Mount Jewett.
