All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ ANDREW CARN Funeral services for Andrew Jackson Carn, aged 47 years, of Williamsburg, who died at 2.50 o'clock yesterday morning at a local hospital, of chronic intestinal trouble, will be held at the Lafferty and Tobias funeral home at a time to be announced later. The body may be viewed at the funeral parlors any time prior to the funeral. He was admitted to the hospital on December 22. Mr. Carn was a native of Blue Knob, and was the son of Jeremiah and Mary Elizabeth Carn. He was employed by W. J. Black, of Huntingdon in Hartslog Valley, prior to his illness. He was twice married, the first time to Miss Sarah Ellen Burket, now deceased. His second marriage was to Mrs. Mary A. Dodson. Three children survive to the first union, Mrs. John Eicher, of Johnstown, Melvin R., of Pittsburg, and Mrs. Ralph Frank; also eight grandchildren. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. John Casey, of Baltimore, Md.; Benjamin F., of Jamestown, Cambria county; George Peter and Espy A., of Tiffin, Ohio; Jacob Blair, of West Claysburg; Mrs. Daniel Hall, of Detroit, Mich.; John Q., of Revloc, Cambria county; Mrs. J. H. Harker, of Girard, Ohio; David Y., of Johnstown; Allan, of New York; Mrs. Emma R. Albright and Mrs. Mary Conrad, both of Altoona, and William Van., of Duncansville. (Johnstown papers please copy.)
