Well known resident of Claysburg, died at his home there yesterday forenoon at 11 o'clock, death following a year's illness attributed to a complication of ailments. He was the son of William and Lucy (Burket) Carn and was born at Osterburg on Nov. 8, 1885, where he resided until he was united in marriage with Miss Clara Feather, when they took up residence in Claysburg. He was employed by the General Refractories company. Surviving are his wife and two children, Delma and Margaret, both at home; his mother, residing at Osterburg, and two brothers and two sisters, George Carn of Osterburg, Harry Carn of Toledo, O., Mrs. Charles Pensyl of Spring Hope and Mrs. John Harr of Salix. Mr. Carn was a member of the Osterburg Reformed church. Friends are being received at the home. CARN - Funeral services for Park Carn will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the Reformed church at Osterburg in charge of the pastor, Rev. Gerald W. Dieter.
