HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS.

Mrs. Mary Carner, the aged mother of Mr. Charles Carner, who died at
the residence of her son, on Friday last, was buried in the Lutheran
cemetery on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The deceased lady was 78
years of age and for many years a consistent member of the Lutheran
church, the pastor of which - Rev. D. L. Ryder - assisted by Rev. J.
B. Shaver, of the Methodist Episcopal church, conducted the funeral
ceremonies.
