ANNIE CARROLL Of 808 Eighteenth avenue, widow of Lawrence Carroll, died at Mercy hospital yesterday afternoon at 3.45 o'clock after an illness of three weeks. She was born in Altoona on Nov. 14, 1872, a daughter of John and Jane (Williamson) Smith. Surviving are five sons and two daughters, Joseph L., Paul L., and Lawrence V., of Altoona, Brother Marion, T.O.R., of St. Francis Monastery, Robert W. of Chest Springs, Mrs. Catherine Lauer of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Dorothy Johnston of Altoona; 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three sisters, Miss Jean Smith of Altoona, Mrs. Harold Barron of Philadelphia and Miss Betty Smith of Pittsburgh. Mrs. Carroll was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic church, the L.C.B.A. and the Altar and Rosary society. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. CARROLL - The funeral of Mrs. Annie Carroll of 808 Eighteenth avenue, will be held Saturday morning with requiem mass at 9.30 o'clock in St. Theresa Catholic church. Interment in Calvary cemetery.
