DEATHS OF CHILDREN.

  At twenty minutes of 3 o'clock Friday afternoon Irene Eliza, daughter 
of Thomas and Catharine Carroll, died at the home of her parents, 
LaPierre hotel, Sixth and Union avenues, of gastritis.  The child was 
aged 5 years, 5 months and 12 days.
