CARROLUS Of 925 Twenty-third avenue, died at the home of his son, Kenneth G., at 3.30 o'clock this morning after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, Feb. 9, 1882, a son of George and Belle (Rutherford) Carrolus. His wife, Maud (Snyder) Carrolus, preceded him in death last Jan. 4. He is survived by two sons, Kenneth G. of Altoona and Bernard of Wilkinsburg, one daughter, Mrs. Robert Messner of Altoona; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Mock and Mrs. Louis Mower, both of Altoona and Nora Chase of Duquesne; four brothers, Harry C. and Clay of Altoona, Theodore of Duquesne and Miller of McKeesport; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A member of the Second Evangelical United Brethren church, he was a retired boilermaker of the Pennsylvania railroad. Friends will be received at the Axe funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
