CARSON

  Jesse H. Carson died at his home at Sproul yesterday morning at 6:30 
o'clock of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza.  He was born in 
this city July 5, 1894, son of Charles F. and Annie Carson, of 430 
Second avenue.  He is survived by his wife and two children: Jesse, 
jr., and Anna, his father and mother and one sister, Miss Sophia 
Carson, of this city.  He was engaged in farming and did hauling when 
not engaged on the farm.  He has resided at Sproul for three years.  
The funeral will be held at the late home on Tuesday at 12 o'clock with 
interment in this city at 2.30 o'clock.
