LOCAL BREVITIES.

  At 5.30 o'clock p.m. yesterday Herbert William, son of William and 
Susan Carter, of Twentieth street between Eighth and Ninth avenues, 
died on cholera infantum, aged 1 year and 8 months.  The funeral will 
take place to-morrow afternoon.  Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
