MRS. MARY E. CASNER

Wife of John W. Casner, died at her home at Duncansville, R.D., last 
evening at 7.15 o'clock, death being attributed to a complication of 
ailments.  She was the daughter of Adam and Sarah Gunnett Rhodes and 
was born at Allegheny Furnace on Jan. 7, 1866.  She was united in 
marriage with Mr. John Casner in Altoona on Sept. 14, 1885, the 
ceremony being performed by Rev. J. K. Lloyd.  Surviving are the 
husband and one daughter, Mrs. Grace Filler, of Detroit, Mich.; one 
son, John Calvin Casner, of Lackawanna, N.Y.; one brother, Calvin 
Rhodes of Clappertown, and one sister, Mrs. Ella Rhodes of Royer, and 
three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Casner was 
educated in the schools at Royer and was a member of the Royer 
Methodist church.
