SARAH ELIZABETH CASSADY

Of 316 West Eighteenth street, Tyrone, died at 12.15 o'clock this morning at her 
home after a long illness.  She was born June 13, 1871, in Snyder township, a 
daughter of Hiram and Catherine (Stiver) Friday.  She was married in 1890 to 
Harry C. Cassady, who died June 11, 1936.  Surviving are these children: Merrill 
C. of Juniata, Charles H. of Tyrone, William B. of Elizabeth, N.J., Mrs. Paul 
Miller, Mrs. James Kagarise and Robert L. of Tyrone; eight grandchildren, four 
great-grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Jerry of Alexandria, Samuel, 
Mrs. Harold Miles and George, all of Bald Eagle.  Mrs. Cassady was a member of 
the Columbia Avenue Methodist church, the Past Noble Grands of the Daughters of 
Rebekah and the American Legion auxiliary.  Friends will be received at the home 
after o'clock this evening.
