In Memoriam.

Mrs. Sarah A. Cassiday died December 9, just five weeks after the
death of her husband.  She leaves two little girls aged 4 and 12
years.

Oh mamma, mamma can it be
That we must lose you too,
Without a mother's loving care
We'll know not what to do.

But five short weeks ago we stood
Around our papa's bier,
And then our little hearts were sad
And bitter were our tears.

But then you soothed our little grief,
You wiped our tears away,
But now no loving parent's words
Can comfort us to-day.

Yet still we would not wish you back,
Such wishes would be vain,
You've gone where you shall never know
Sorrow, grief or pain.

So farewell papa, mamma dear,
When our short life is o'er,
We hope to meet you up in Heaven,
Where we shall part no more.
