GEORGE D. CASSIDY

Of 1013 16th Ave., died at 4.30 p.m. Sunday in the Altoona Hospital, 
where he was admitted shortly before, after a lengthy illness. He was 
born in Altoona on May 26, 1898, a son of David and Mary Cassidy, and 
married Ruth D. Burket on Nov. 24, 1920. Surviving are his wife, two 
daughters, Mrs. Janet Hoffman of the city and Joan at home; one 
grandson and two brothers, James and Ira of the city. He was a member 
of the First E.U.B. Church and retired as a carpenter from the P.R.R. 
in 1957. Friends are being received in the Hickey Funeral home.
