At 6.50 o'clock last evening Henry Shaw Cassidy died at the home of his brother-in-law Mr. Charles Mallory, 1402 Seventh avenue, of typhoid malaria. Deceased had been a resident of Pittsburg for the past year, being employed as crane director at the Schoen Pressed Steel Car works. He was taken sick two weeks ago and came to Altoona. He was born at Allegheny Furnace April 27, 1879, and was the son of William and Anna Cassidy, deceased. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church, and generally esteemed by all who knew him. He is survived by the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Charles Malloy, Mrs. G. C. Fortenbaugh, Mrs. J. A. Elder, David, Charles H., P. S. and William B., all of this city. The funeral will take place Thursday morning, mass to be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic church at 9 o'clock; interment in St. John's cemetery. Morning Tribune, Wednesday, October 18, 1899
