CASSIDY Of 2205 Broad Ave., died at 10.05 a.m. yesterday in the Altoona Veterans Administration Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona on June 1, 1889, a son of David and Mary (Smith) Cassidy, and married Kathryn (Otto) Mock on April 12, 1960. Surviving are his wife, a son, James R. of Madison, Ohio; two step-sons, John and Leroy Mock of the city; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a brother, Ira, of the city. He was a member of the Broad Avenue Methodist Church, veteran of Army service in World War I, member of Altoona Barracks, World War I Veterans, Golden Age and Get-Together Clubs, and retired as a boilermaker from the P.R.R.
