JAMES H. CASSIDY

Of 2205 Broad Ave., died at 10.05 a.m. yesterday in the Altoona 
Veterans Administration Hospital after an extended illness. He was born 
in Altoona on June 1, 1889, a son of David and Mary (Smith) Cassidy, 
and married Kathryn (Otto) Mock on April 12, 1960. Surviving are his 
wife, a son, James R. of Madison, Ohio; two step-sons, John and Leroy 
Mock of the city; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a 
brother, Ira, of the city. He was a member of the Broad Avenue 
Methodist Church, veteran of Army service in World War I, member of 
Altoona Barracks, World War I Veterans, Golden Age and Get-Together 
Clubs, and retired as a boilermaker from the P.R.R. Friends will be 
received in the Stevens Mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. today, 2 to 4 and 7 
to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
