MRS. CATHERMAN
Passed Away at Grazierville Home Last Night

  Suffering the past four weeks from a complication of diseases, Mrs. 
Hettie Jane Catherman, slipped out of this life last night at 10:45 
o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. J. Ellenberger, at 
Grazierville.  
  Mrs. Hettie Jane Catherman was a daughter, of the late Daniel and 
Lydia Ulrich.  She was born at Millheim, Centre county, July 20, 1852, 
and in 1871, at Aaronsburg, Centre county, was united in marriage with 
Jacob Catherman, who preceded her to the grave seven years ago.  
  Surviving her passing away are one son Irvin Catherman, of Tyrone, 
two daughters, Mrs. W. J. Ellenberger, of Grazierville; Mrs. W. J. 
Keown of Pittsburgh, and twenty-three grandchildren.  
  Mrs. Catherman lived thirty years in this community.  She possessed a 
beautiful Christian character and was held in high esteem by a large 
acquaintance.  Early in life, she united with the Lutheran church at 
Warrior's Mark and since then lived her years according to that faith. 
  Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at 
the Grazierville Methodist Episcopal church.  Interment will be made in 
Grandview cemetery, Tyrone.
