MRS. VIVIAN E. CAUM

Of 905 Sixteenth avenue, died in the Altoona hospital yesterday afternoon at 
2.45 o'clock.  Mrs. Caum was born Oct. 19, 1913, in Juniata, the daughter of 
William A. and Jane (Copley) Nelson.  She was a graduate of Altoona High 
school in class of 1932.  Surviving are her husband, Howard Melvin Caum; 
three sons, David Melvin, Richard Allen and William Howard, all at home; her 
parents of Portsmith [sic], Va.; one brother and one sister, Robert Nelson of 
Portsmouth, Va., and Mrs. Virginia Werts of Hollidaysburg.  She was a member 
of the First Presbyterian church and served as secretary of the Fairview 
Parent-Teacher association.  Friends will be received at the Saleme funeral 
home, Juniata, after 7 o'clock this evening.
