LeRoy Cessna, until recently a resident of Altoona, died at Pittsburg, Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock, after an illness of a few days, of pneumonia. He was born at Tyrone, March 7, 1887, and had spent the greater part of his life in this city and vicinity. He was married September 14, 1909, to Lottie Fletcher, the daughter of David Fletcher, of 1011 Second avenue. While a resident of this city he was employed as a machinist in the Twelfth street shops. He left six months ago to take up his residence in Pittsburg. He is survived by his wife and four children: Edward, George, Charles and Grace, all at home. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Edward, of Marysville; Albert, of Baltimore, Jacob, of this city; Mrs. Harvey Hipple, of Marysville, and Mrs. Blair Worthington, of Scotland, Pa. Mr. Cessna was a member of lodge No. 206, F.O.E. The body will arrive here today and will be received by Funeral Director N. A. Stevens. The funeral will be held with services at the Fletcher home, 1011 Second avenue, at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, in charge of the Rev. Geo. R. Bishop, pastor of St. Luke's Protestant Episcopal church. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Saturday Morning, February 3, 1917
