GEORGE CHAMPENS. [CHAMPENO - ed.]
 
Word has just been received by relatives of the death of George 
Champens [Champeno - ed.] at the National Soldiers' home in Dayton, O., 
on April 30, 1921. He was a veteran of the Civil war and a former 
resident of Hollidaysburg, and had been a coal miner. He was aged about 
82 years and is survived by one sister, Mrs. T. F. Johnston of 
Alliance, O. For the past nineteen years he had lived at the Soldiers' 
home. Burial was made at Dayton.
