JANE CHANDLER A Former Tyrone Lady Died in Harrisburg Yesterday. Mrs. Jane Chandler died on Thursday morning at 5.30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. C. Shaver, Harrisburg, Pa., aged 72 years. Mrs. Chandler's death was due to a stroke of paralysis which she suffered several years ago, and since that time had been an invalid. She was a kind, Christian woman and bore her sufferings with fortitude. The deceased was formerly a resident of Tyrone. After the death of her husband, she moved to Ocean City, New Jersey, where she resided until the past year when she went to make her home with her son-in-law and daughter, N. C. Shaver and wife in Harrisburg. The following children survive to mourn her death: Ida R. and Mrs. N. C. Shaver, Harrisburg; Mrs. J. O. McConahy, of Tyrone; Charles A. of Carlisle and George N. of St. Benedict. Her remains will be brought to Tyrone this evening on fast line and taken to the home of J. C. McConahy on Logan Avenue. The funeral services were conducted by Reverend John H. Daugherty of the First Methodist Church, at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment in Grandview Cemetery.
