Harry E. Chaney 

  Harry E. Chaney, 53, of 905B - E. Caroline Ave., Altoona, Pa. went to 
be with his Lord Wed., Feb. 27, 2008 at the Altoona Regional Health 
System, Altoona Hospital Campus, after a lengthy illness.
  He was born January 10, 1955 at Roaring Spring, Pa. the son of Harry 
and June (Strait) Chaney.
  On Oct. 23, 1992 he married Sandra "Sandi" Cowher. 
  He is survived by his wife and a daughter Katie Chaney of Altoona. A 
step-daughter Rose Windsor in Philadelphia. Step-grandchildren: Tawni, 
Ciara, Ethan and Mya.
  He was a graduate of Penn State University in Accounting. He was a 
compassionate and talented person. An avid reader of history, and 
enjoyed oil painting and music. He was an accomplished self-employed 
accountant for many years.
  There will be no viewing.
  A memorial service will be held Monday, March 3, 2008 at 7 p.m. at 
the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Pastor Steven E. Burns 
officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour 
before the memorial service.
  In lieu of flowers, those who desire may contribute in his memory to 
the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation
