CHAPMAN.

  Word has been received at Hollidaysburg of the death at Melrose, 
Mass., on Oct. 17, of Mrs. Allen Chapman, formerly Miss Gertrude Ryan, 
daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. W. M. Ryan, formerly of the Hollidaysburg 
Baptist church, now residing at Pittsburgh.  She is survived by her 
husband, a 12-year-old son and her parents.  She was, prior to 
marriage, engaged as a school teacher in this county, her last services 
having been rendered at Gaysport.
