Things Briefly Told.

  On Saturday Mrs. Larue Chase, wife of John M. Chase, died in this 
city, aged 42 years and 3 months.  The funeral will take place from the  
residence of her parents, Fifth avenue, between Fifteenth and Sixteenth 
streets, this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
