A correspondent at Tipton sends us the following: Harry F., third son of John E. and Rachael Cherry, after a short but severe attack of pneumonia, died on Thursday, January 29th, and was laid to rest in the Charlottsville cemetery, Saturday, the 31st ult. Harry's death is the first occurring in the family, consisting of eleven children, therefore, seemingly, creating the greater sorrow to the bereaved parents, brothers and sisters. Harry Cherry was 18 years old on the day of his death. He was of a mild, gentle and agreeable disposition, beloved and respected by all who knew him. Although not a professed Christian, during his affliction he had time for spiritual meditation and expressed himself as being comforted by the blessed hope of a bright future.
