ELSIE DeVONA CHILCOTE

  Mrs. Chilcote, 88, of 1221 22nd Ave. died at 2:45 a.m. today, Aug. 8, 1983, in 
Allegheny Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg, after an extended illness.
  She was born July 21, 1895, in Altoona, the daughter of Samuel W. and Mary 
Elizabeth (Knee) Gonter, and June 9, 1915, in Cumberland, Md., married Arthur 
Paul Chilcote, who died March 18, 1968.
  Mrs. Chilcote was a life member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Daniel R. Myers 
Funeral Home.

CHILCOTE - Services for Elsie D. Chilcote of 1221 22nd Ave. will be held at 
10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home, by the Rev. Gerald H. 
Wood Jr. Interment in Alto-Reste Park. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. 
Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to 
the American Cancer Society or the Trinity United Methodist Church.
