Things Briefly Told.

  In the Cambria county almshouse on Friday last, died Mrs. Hannah 
Choate at the age of about 83 years.  She was admitted to the 
institution March 25, 1878, having been sent there from Ebensburg, to 
which place she wandered.  The deceased belonged to Philadelphia, and 
prior to being located in the poor house she resided in Hollidaysburg 
for a short time.
