CHRONISTER Of Nealmont, Tyrone, died at his home at 6 o'clock yesterday morning after one week's illness. He was born at Spring Mount, Huntingdon county, on Oct. 1, 1878, a son of George and Barbara (Grazier) Chronister, and in 1900 was united in marriage with Miss Clara L. Burton at Philipsburg. Surviving are his wife with two daughters and one son, Mrs. Henry Estright of Milesburg, Mrs. Harry Casswell of Washington, D.C., and Private David C. Chronister of the United States army, located in Panama; one grandchild, four brothers and one sister, Martin Chronister of Spring Mount, Doss of Osceola Mills, Harry of Detroit, Mich., Ralph of Johnstown and Mrs. Nan Walker of Turtle Creek. Mr. Chronister entered the Pennsylvania Railroad company service in 1902 and was employed in the East Altoona enginehouse as a machinist helper. He was a member of the Pentecostal tabernacle, Tyrone, and of Tyrone lodge No. 25, L.O.O.M. Funeral services will be held at the home at 1.30 o'clock Monday afternoon.
