  Miss Marie Elaine Chronister, Bald Eagle, Tyrone RD 3, died Saturday 
at 3:15 p.m. at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after an extended 
illness.
  She was born Sept. 29, 1950, at Philipsburg State Hospital, a 
daughter of Donald and Mary Marko Chronister.  Surviving are the 
parents, a brother, Dennis, at home; her grandparents, Peter Marko Sr., 
Osceola Mills, and Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Chronister, Bald Eagle, and Mr. 
and Mrs. Dewey Wills, Tyrone.
  She was a member of the Columbia Avenue United Methodist Church where 
she was very active as a pianist.
  She was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School this month.
  Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a. m. at the Columbia 
Avenue United Methodist Church, in charge of the Rev. Leroy Harrison.  
Burial will be in Bald Eagle Cemetery.  Friends will be received at the 
Johnson Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 
and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Wednesday after 9 a.m. at the church.
