MRS. DESSA MAE CLAPPER

Died at 12.50 o'clock noon yesterday at the home of Mrs. Ruth Irvin, 227 Bell 
avenue, after a year's illness. She was born on Aug. 15, 1868, in Blair 
county, and was the widow of Robert W. Clapper, who died in 1937. Surviving 
are one sister, Mrs. Tillie Kelley of Buffalo, N.Y., and several brothers and 
sisters in Ohio. Mrs. Clapper was a member of the United Brethren church. 
Friends are being received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home after 7 o'clock 
this evening.

CLAPPER--Funeral services for Mrs. Dessa Mae Clapper of 227 Bell avenue, will 
be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mauk & Yates funeral home in 
charge of Rev. Austin V. Hunter of the Third Presbyterian church. Interment, 
in Rose Hill cemetery. Friends are being received at the Mauk and Yates 
funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
