Death of Jacob Clapper.

At 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon Jacob Clapper, an aged and much
respected citizen of Carson Valley, died at his residence there, aged
80 years, 1 month and 13 days.  At the time of his death he was a
member of the Lutheran church of Duncansville.  The funeral will take
place on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from the residence of his
brother, Samuel Clapper.  Interment in Carson valley cemetery.
