William Clapper died at his home near Flowing Springs, on Tuesday, November 11, aged about 29 years. He was the oldest son of Jacob and Margaret Clapper. He married Miss Walls several years ago, who, with two children, is called to lose an affectionate husband and a kind father. He has five sisters and four brothers living, viz: Mrs. Delia, wife of J. M. Walls; Mrs. Maggie, wife of George Douglas, and Clara, Katie, Alice, Joseph, Oliver, Jacob and Irvin, who reside with their parents. The cause of his death was typhoid fever.
