BLANCHE CLARK Of 2306 Sixth avenue, died at 1.05 o'clock this morning after an extended illness. She was born at Newry Jan. 25, 1872, a daughter of Charles and Catherine (Kolbenschlag) Schwerdt. Mrs. Clark was a retired school teacher, having taught for 39 years in both city and county schools. She was a member of Sacred Heart church, C.D. of A., a charter member of Sacred Heart guild, the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, Business and Professional Women's club of Altoona and the Retired Teachers association. Her husband, Frank Clark, sr., preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Frank of Altoona; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Sweeney of Summit, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Clara Stormer of Sylvan Hills and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the N.A. Stevens mortuary after 7 o'clock this evening. CLARK - Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Clark of 2306 Sixth avenue, will be held at 9 o'clock on Friday morning in Sacred Heart Catholic church.
