Clark Died at Home of Sister on Waring Place Early on Saturday morning, Mrs. Della B. Clark, wife of William Clark, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Mattie Batch on Waring Place in the First ward. Mrs. Clark had been in failing health for some time with cancer. Several months ago, she came from Pittsburgh to make her home with her sister. Since coming east, she failed rapidly, death coming at the above time. Mrs. Della Clark was born in West Virginia about forty years ago, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Diggs. Surviving her passing away, is her husband and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Batch of Tyrone. She was a sincere Christian woman and a member of the African Methodist Episcopal church. The body was taken to the Fuoss and Glass mortuary, where it was prepared for burial and where on Tuesday afternoon, at two o'clock, services will be conducted by Rev. S. A. Cousins, pastor of Bethel A. M. E. Church. Interment will be made in Tyrone. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 1, 1934
